hurricane sandy update

Anthony and I lost power to our place around 8:15 Monday night and as of right now, they are telling us next Thursday before it comes back on. We had massive damage on our block, three trees have brought down power lines and are still hanging on. I am continuing to work as I have time and mental energy to work through this! We are truly lucky nothing more was done – my heart goes out to all majorly affected by Sandy.

Clients – please let me know if you need anything at all from me!

the color run nyc

At the end of August we participated in the Happiest 5K on the planet, the Color Run in Brooklyn, NY with our neighbors Mike + Lisa. Though it’s very much a fun run, we did run a good portion of it (even the two photos during the course I snapped I was running!). We ended up adding much of the color on our faces via the color packets we all received. It was totally worth the early Saturday morning wake up!! And we even stopped at Coney Island for a hot dog and jaunt down the boardwalk.

randon + rylan

Oh these two seriously melt my heart in ways that I cannot even begin to describe. I got to spend a weekend with them, cuddling on the bed watching the Lorax, swimming in the pool, riding scooters, and lots of kisses and cuddles.

I love this first series, I asked them to sit, then hug, then not touch each other – and this is what I got. And then of course we had to show off our muscles.

our trip via instagram | scotland and england

Some instagram photos from my iPhone! Starting out with the plane to Edinburgh to West Berwick to Stirling down to Carlisle, London, Windsor and now Oxford. We have done a bunch of touristy things from a bike ride through the streets of London, to a cruise hop-on-hop-off boat on the Thames to seeing all the castles in Scotland, Hadrian’s Wall, royal homes, museums, Olympic Park and oh so much more! There will be another post when we return to the States with more details on my thoughts (once I have a moment to process it all!). Anthony is now officially at his conference (the whole reason we are even able to do this trip!) and I have a moment to catch up and check out Oxford all on my own!

out of the country

Quick post and run! Anthony and I currently out of the country, visiting Scotland and England until July 22nd. Please note that I will not be accessing my phone/voicemail while we are here. Emails will be sporadic in return, as I’m enjoying every moment we are here. Thanks for understanding!!
